Day by day

Day 1

Entebbe to Bwindi

A morning flight to Kisoro or the drive south through Mbarara, arriving at a forest-edge lodge in the afternoon.

Day 2

Gorilla trek

Briefing at the ranger post at 7:30am, then between two and six hours in the forest, with one hour with the family. Afternoon at the lodge.

Day 3

Batwa community & forest walk

A morning with the Batwa community and a guided walk on the Munyaga river trail, looking for the forest’s endemic birds.

Day 4

Return to Entebbe

Transfer to the airstrip for the flight to Entebbe, with day-room access before international departures.
