Day by day
Day 1
Arusha to the crater rim
Depart after breakfast via Karatu, arriving at the rim for lunch and an afternoon at the viewpoints. Black rhino briefing with your guide.
Day 2
Crater floor
Descend at 6:30am for a full day on the floor: Lerai forest, Ngoitokitok springs and the Munge river, back on the rim by late afternoon.
Day 3
Lake Manyara & return
A morning in Manyara’s groundwater forest looking for the tree-climbing lions, then the road back to Arusha.
