Day by day
Day 1
Nairobi to Tsavo East
Drive or train to Voi, then into the park for an afternoon drive across the Aruba plains, known for red-dust elephants.
Day 2
Tsavo East & Galana river
A full day along the Galana river and Lugard’s Falls, with lion and the park’s big tusker bulls.
Day 3
Bush to beach
Morning drive out of the park, then transfer to Diani. Check in by mid-afternoon and the rest of the day at the beach.
Day 4
Diani at your pace
Nothing scheduled. Optional dhow trip, kitesurfing lessons or a snorkelling excursion to Kisite marine park.
Day 5
Wasini & Shimoni
A full-day boat trip to Wasini island for dolphins, snorkelling over the reef and a Swahili seafood lunch.
Day 6
Free day
A second unstructured day. Colobus Conservation and the Kaya Kinondo sacred forest are both a short drive away.
Day 7
Departure
Late breakfast, transfer to Ukunda airstrip or Mombasa for your flight home or on to Nairobi.
