Frequently asked questions
July to October for the wildebeest migration in the Masai Mara, and January to March for dry-season game viewing with fewer vehicles. The green season from April to June is quieter and noticeably cheaper, and the wildlife does not leave.

Yes. Kenyan and East African residents and citizens are quoted at park and lodge resident rates automatically, just send a copy of your ID or work permit with your enquiry.
Six months for high season. Uganda issues a limited number of daily permits for Bwindi and Mgahinga, and we cannot hold one without payment, so early booking is the difference between trekking and not.
From about six years old, yes, and we plan around them: shorter drives, family tents, lodges with pools, and guides who are good with questions. Some conservancies set minimum ages, which we flag when we propose camps.
